“Three-coloured (Green, White and Red) Night”. Culture, Entertainment, and History.

For the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy, the city of Rome has put together a rich program of events which will begin with the Three-coloured Night between 16 and 17 March. The city centre will become a great and coloured stage, hosting street performances and fireworks, military bands in concert, musicals, plays and lectures, guided tours. The most beautiful historic buildings will be lighted by spectacular architectural projections.

The event is sponsored by the Technical Unit of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Committee for the Celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy, Roma Capitale, the Ministry of Heritage and Culture, Ministry of Defense and Chamber of Commerce of Rome, under the coordination of Zètema Progetto Cultura, the collaboration of the State Railways, the contribution of Finmeccanica and Gioco del Lotto, Il Messaggero, Istituto Poligrafico and Zecca dello Stato e Poste Italiane.
